I'm a 43 yr old father of three girls, Megan 18, Morgan 13, and Madison 6, so as you can imagine I have my hands full. I lost my mom and my uncle to cancer in 2006, my wife has been battling cancer herself since Dec of last year, and we just lost my wife's father after a short battle with lung cancer. So you can see what motivates us to support LAF.
We organized a bike ride last year and raised $14,000, and split it between the LAF and a local family who's mom was battling breast cancer.
This years ride we raised a little over $20,000 and divide up the money between the ACS and the LAF.
So with our two rides we have donated about $16,000 to LAF!!!
