I have had weight issues all my life. I have tried every diet in the book. Some brought me success for awhile but then I would gain all the weight back, plus more. The journey that I began here on TDP on August 2, 2008 has resulted in some success weight-wise but the best thing I have learned is that this is a lifelong commitment to eating healthy foods and becoming active enough to support a healthy life. I lived through cancer in 2009 so it is important to keep stress down to keep cancer away. I retired in June 2011 and I am still getting used to a new lifestyle and having balance in my life.
