Diagnosed with lung cancer in left lung & lymph nodes December 2007. Non smoker. EGFR mutation (correction - now "EFRG") http://www.egfr.org. Spots in pleural space, but started wt tumor in upper lobe. Did chemo December-March 2008. On Tarceva now, and doing GREAT!!! NO ACTIVE CANCER right now. Not curable, but closest thing to remission possible. Getting CT Scans every 3-4 months.

As of June 2010 - I have good scans, the bad spots have not grown since chemo, so I was able to reduce my Tarceva to 50mg/day. So now I have less Tarceva rash & less dry skin. My hair has still taken a really long time to grow back. It came back blonde & curly.

Still trying to travel, look for work & ride my bike. :)
