I've never been an athlete and am not good at keeping up a workout routine. I love exercise tv (www.exercisetv.tv) though, it's got me so motivated! Last summer I completed the Bikini Body plan and worked out 6 days a week for at least 30 minutes. I didn't lose much weight, but I lost inches and gained a lot of strength & stamina!
I did Jillian Michaels 30-day shred last fall. I worked very hard and was in a good routine until.... I broke my foot! I actually sustained a stress fracture because I was working myself too hard. I took a long time to heal and lost all motivation when this happened. It was so sad! I learned a lot though, I need to listen to my body better and not push too hard.
I am now totally re-motivated and prepared to LOSE 20 POUNDS!!! I am getting an exercise bike from Craig's List this weekend, I have the Jillian iFit cards coming in the mail, and I am READY to work out and get fit!! I plan to do an hour on the bike every day with a goal of buring 500 calories on the bike. I also plan to cut 500 calories from my diet so I can lose this weight.

I am 32, I have a 3 year old son and a 5 year old son and I am a full-time teacher with a very full family / social life. I have never been athletic, and now that I've had 2 kids and am in my 30's, my body is changing... scary! I am 5'9.5" and 172.6 pounds. My ideal weight is around 150 pounds.
