Push Up Exercises

How to Replace a Push Up With Exercise

A pushup requires no equipment and is a moderately challenging exercise. If you do not possess the strength to perform pushups yet, you can replace them with other alternatives. The key thing is to do exercises that work the same muscles. Pushups are compound exercises — which means they work more than one muscle at a time. Your goal is to zero in on your pectorals, triceps, deltoids and abs. The pecs are in the chest, the triceps sit on the back of the upper arms, the delts are on the shoulders and the abs are in the stomach area.
