Almond Nut Milk

Almond Nut Milk

Make your own almond milk at home with little to no waste. All you need is a fine mesh cloth or strainer (and your blender, of course). You can get creative with how you flavor your milk; here we use a touch of maple syrup, vanilla bean and cinnamon. Add the milk to your coffee or cereal, or just drink it straight!

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 1 cup Almonds, Supreme Whole
  • 3 cups Water (filtered Tap Water)
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 vanilla bean pod
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

1 Soak almonds overnight.
2 Drain almonds and place in blender with water. Blend on high until completely mixed.
3 Over a medium bowl, pour mixture through a fine mesh colander or cloth, straining the liquid from the remaining nut mixture.
4 Add liquid back to blender and add maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon and blend on low for about 10 seconds.
