Make your own almond milk at home with little to no waste. All you need is a fine mesh cloth or strainer (and your blender, of course). You can get creative with how you flavor your milk; here we use a touch of maple syrup, vanilla bean and cinnamon. Add the milk to your coffee or cereal, or just drink it straight!

Ingredients

Directions

1. Soak almonds overnight.
2. Drain almonds and place in blender with water. Blend on high until completely mixed.
3. Over a medium bowl, pour mixture through a fine mesh colander or cloth, straining the liquid from the remaining nut mixture.
4. Add liquid back to blender and add maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon and blend on low for about 10 seconds.
