Anna's Texas Hash

Tex Mex style dish made healthy with whole grain brown rice and extra lean ground beef! Add some red or green peppers, tomato sauce, onions, and it's a MEAL-O!
Ingredients
- 12 oz 96/4 Extra Lean Ground Beef
- 4 cups Ready Rice Whole Grain Brown
- 2 cups Red Peppers
- 1 cup Onions
- 25 oz Tomato Sauce
Directions
Brown the beef with onions and peppers, minced. Drain, and add the tomato sauce and 4 cups of water. Add uncooked rice, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1/2 hr, until most of the liquid is gone.
Serve sprinkled with Cheddar cheese and hot sauce for some extra zing!
