Apple Cinnamon Granola

Homemade granola that is easy, low fat, and low sugar!
Ingredients
- 3 cups Old-fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Apple
- 1/2 cup Wheat Germ
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Shred apple (using food processor or box grater). In a medium/large mixing bowl, combine apple, oats, and wheat germ. Stir until mixture is completely combined. In a small saucepan, combine water, honey, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and pour over apple/oat mixture. Spray a 15x13x1 baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Spread granola mixture evenly over baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes. Cool mixture on foil. Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
*Feel free to add dried fruit (raisins, cherries, dates, etc) and nuts!
