For an easy, mess-free breakfast, try this fun recipe. It features eggs baked directly in hollowed-out avocado cups. Top it with strips of turkey bacon for an extra boost of protein.

1. Cut the first avocado in half and scoop out the seed. Scoop out some of the avocado to create room for the eggs. Repeat these steps for the remaining two avocados.

3. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the avocado halves on a muffin tin and crack 1 egg in each avocado.

3. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your liking.

4. Top with cooked, uncured turkey bacon -- one strip per avocado half.

Notes:
Feel free to substitute the bacon for another topping of choice.
