Banana nut bread - Silver Palate recipe

Ingredients
- 8 tbsp Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter
- 3/4 cup Sugar, Granulated
- 2 Eggs, Large
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 3 Banana, large
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Raw Walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven 350 degs. Grease 9x5x3" bread pan.
Cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each.
Sift all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt together, stir in whole wheat flour and add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Fold in mashed bananas, vanilla and chopped nuts.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 mins until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 mins, then on rack.
Makes 1 loaf. (16 slices)
