This creamy, spiced smoothie has a complex taste that is sure to please. Rich in resistant starch, bananas provide a boost to your metabolism by encouraging your liver to switch to fat-burning mode. In addition, the potassium in bananas can reduce belly bloat by regulating sodium levels.

1. In a blender combine the frozen banana, cored and chopped pear, cooked quinoa, cinnamon, coriander, almond milk, and ice and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with cinnamon, and serve.
