Barilla Lasagna Box Recipe

Ingredients
- 16 pieces Pasta
- 1 lb Regular Ground Beef
- 32 oz Marinara
- 16 oz Ricotta, Light, 4%
- 4 cups 2% Shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 cup Parmesan, Shredded Cheese
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 egg
Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bring a pot of water to a boil for the pasta. Brown the beef in the olive oil and then add one and a half jars of the marinara sauce. Simmer and season to taste. Meanwhile, salt the boiling water and add the lasagna noodles. Boil for eight minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta, 3 1/2 cups of the mozzarella, and the parmesan. Add 2 lightly beaten eggs. Combine until well-mixed.
Lightly grease a 13" by 9" baking pan or dish and add a small amount of the remaining marinara sauce to the bottom. Arrange the noodles to cover the surface of the dish, slightly overlapping. Spread half of the cheese mixture evenly over the noodles, and then cover with half of the meat sauce. Repeat for another layer of noodles, cheese, and meat. Finish a last layer of noodles and then cover with the remaining mozarella, adding some unused marinara sauce to the sides and corners if necessary to avoid drying out. Cover with foil and bake for thirty minutes. Uncover and bake for another five minutes.
