Beef Stew with Bourbon
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Bourbon Whiskey
- 2 1/2 lb Lean Stewing Beef
- 15 oz Diced Tomatoes
- 6 cups Beef Stock
- 2 cups Green Beans
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 cups Whole Kernel Corn
- 1/2 cup Onions
- 2 cloves Garlic Clove
- 10 Red Mini Potatoes
Directions
Season the beef with salt pepper and garlic powder then in a heavy stock pot or dutch oven, Brown the beef in the olive oil...remove from pan. Saute the onion and chopped garlic cloves until soft. Return the beef to the pot and add the bourbon and diced tomatoes and cover the entire mixture with the beef stock. Cover and simmer for two hours or until beef is very tender. Add the potatoes (cut in half or quarters depending on size) and green beans and corn and simmer for another 20 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
