Fast, simple and tasty, this recipe calls for soba noodles instead of brown rice.

Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Heat large nonstick or cast iron skillet over high heat for one minute. Reduce heat to medium-high, mist pan with spray and saute the pound of lean round steak, which has been pounded to 1/4 inch thick and cut into strips, for about five minutes or until cooked (medium doneness will leave pink in the middle). Remove steak, leaving juices in the pan.

Add onion, broccoli, julienned pepper and the two diced carrots to the pan and saute over medium-high heat for about five minutes or until cooked through.

In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, juice from one medium orange, zest, garlic and honey.

Add steak back to vegetables in pan and pour in soy sauce mixture. Saute steak and vegetables over medium-high heat for about two minutes, then whisk in flour to thicken, about two to three minutes. Add noodles to pan and warm through.

Serve.
