Beef and Pasta

Easy and quick meal that you can use anything you have in the pantry. Kid friendly too!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef 97% Lean
- 1/2 box Penne Pasta
- 1 raw medium Vidalia Sweet Onions
- 1 medium raw Green-bell Pepper
- 2 oz Sliced Ripe Olives
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 1/2 cups Organic Diced Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp Coarse Kosher Salt
- 1/2 cup Parsley, Raw Fresh
- 1 tbsp Parmigiano Reggiano Stravecchio
Directions
Prepare pasta per directions on package.
In non-stick skillet add 2 tbs. Olive oil.
Brown beef, stirring frequently.
Add chopped onion, sliced green pepper, chopped garlic. Stir until brown and vegetables are tender. Add diced tomatoes with juice. Continue to cook and stir about 4 minutes on medium high, do not let it burn. Add salt, pepper, Italian spice and black olives. Stir to combine. Drain pasta and add to meat mixture, combine. Add parsley and combine.
When plated sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cooking time about 25 minutes.
