Dave's Beef Stew for 2

A Hearty but low calorie stew tailored for 2 people
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Tomato soup
- 150 g Russet Potatoes
- 150 g Top Sirloin Steak
- 2 oz Beef Broth-low Sodium
- 4 tbsp Peas, Frozen
- 78 g Raw Carrot Stick (78g)
- 4 tbsp Vidalia
- 1/3 cup Frozen String Beans
- 1/3 cup Rutabagas
- 1/2 cup Tap Water
- 2 tsp Flour, White
- 10 g Buttery Taste
Directions
Cube the onion, potato, carrots, and rutabaga and braise in the beef stock until slightly tender. Add the frozen peas and beans to the stock and vegetables.
Make a roux with the margarine and flour.
Combine the tomato soup and water and add to the pot.
Simmer the mix on low heat for at least 30 minutes.
Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and herbs De Provence to taste.
Cube the sirloin into small pieces and add to the pot in the final minutes of cooking. If you need to thicken the stew add the roux mix and simmer until the stew thickens.
