Granola Bars. But yummy. Secret ingredient...golden syrup!
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups Oats
- 1/2 cup Cake Flour
- 1 1/4 cups Sweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1/2 tsp Salt*
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Milk 2%
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 0 cup Margarine
- 3 tbsp Golden Syrup
Directions
Mix together the oats, cake flour, coconut, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
Combine, heat and melt together the sugar, butter and syrup.
Dissolve together the baking soda and milk.
Add all ingredients and stir.
Press into a greased baking tin (13" X 9")
Bake at 180C for 20 minutes.
Cool slightly and cut into fingers or squares.
