Jeff's Black Bean Veggie Burger

Spiced up with Cumin, Hot sauce, garlic. High protein, low-fat, zero cholesterol! Quick and easy!
Ingredients
- 16 oz Black Beans
- 1/2 large Green Bell Pepper
- 75 g Yellow Onion Large
- 3 cloves Garlic Clove
- 2 large Egg White
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seed
- 1 tsp Hot Sauce
- 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
- 4 roll 100% Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins
Directions
Drain well and mash beans until thick and pasty. In a food processor, finely chop bell pepper, onion and garlic and drain juices as much as possible; then stir into mashed beans.
In a separate bowl, stir together the egg whites, chili powder, hot sauce and cumin, then stir this mixture into the bean mixture until sticky and well blended together, then mix in bread crumbs.
Grill approximately 8-minutes per side. Makes 4 patties. Can be frozen and reheated.
