Black and white angel food cake Ina Garten

Angel Food cake with semi-sweet chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Egg Whites
- 1 1/3 cups Cake Flour
- 2 cups Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Cream Of Tartar
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
Directions
Heat oven to 350.
Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until medium firm.
Turn mixer to medium and sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over egg whites. Mix until firm and shiny. Add vanilla and mix in.
Scrape egg white mixture into large bowl.
Add flour mix 1/4 cup at a time and gently fold in.
Sift 1 1/2 cups sugar with the flour four times.
Add chopped chocolate and gently fold.
Pour into ungreased tube pan.
Bake 35-45 min until springs back
