Chocolate chip scones
Ingredients
- 1 cup All-purpose White Flour
- 10 g Baking Powder
- 5 g Salt
- 35 g Sugar, Granulated
- 45 g Margarine
- 75 ml 1% Low Fat Milk
- 1 egg
- 90 g Semi-Sweet Mini Chocolate Chip Morsels
Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix well. Cut in margarine.
In a separate bowl, combine cream with beaten egg then add to dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Roll dough out and cut into biscuit size rounds. Bake for 15 minutes or until brown.
