Carrot, Mandarin and Cayenne Smoothie

This tangy, orange-hued smoothie is spiked with just enough cayenne to give it a satisfying kick and help liven up your metabolism. Naturally low in calories and full of nutrients, carrots are a smart food for weight loss.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 medium raw carrots
  • 2 fruit clementine
  • 1/4 medium Honeycrisp Apples
  • 12 pieces Raw Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Spices & Seasonings, Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Water, tap, well
  • 4 Ice Cube

DIRECTIONS

1 In a blender, combine the carrot, oranges, apple, raw almonds, lemon juice, ground cayenne, water, and ice and blend until smooth.
2 Pour into a glass and top with a sprinkle of cayenne powder and serve.
