Bacon cooked with onion, sausage, broccoli, and potatos baked in cheesey broccoli soup
Ingredients
- 16 oz Sliced Bacon
- 1 lb Mild Italian Sausage (ground)
- 1/2 lb Diced Redskin Potatos
- 16 oz Frozen Broccoli Cuts
- 4 cups 98% Fat Free Broccoli Cheese Soup
- 3 cups Water
- 1 1/2 cups Fiesta Blend Fancy Shredded Cheese
- 1/2 medium White Onion
Directions
Cut the bacon into small pieces and start cooking in a large frying pan. Chop onion and add. When bacon is starting to turn brown add sausage. Cook until bacon is chewy, but brown.
Chop potatos and spread evenly in a large baking pan. Pour one can of soup and one can water over potatos. Mix with large spoon, or hands.
Do not drain meat! Pour meat and onions over poatos.
Cover with broccoli. Pour second can of soup, and 2 cans water over broccoli. Lightly shake pan or gently move with spoon to mix soup and water.
Bake at 350 F for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.
Sprinkle cheese on top when done.
Quicker: Cook potatos beforehand in a large bowl of water in microwave. Only add 2 cans of water total, instead of 3. Bake for 30 min - 1hr
