Ingredients
- 16 oz Boneless Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 cup Barley
- 5 cups Chicken Broth Low Sodium
- 1/2 medium stalks Celery
- 3/4 cup Carrots
- 4/5 cup Onions
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1 tsp Basil, Dried
- 1/2 tsp Thyme, Dried
Directions
Add all ingredients to pot.
Bring to a boil, cover loosely and turn to low.
Simmer 1.25 hours, stir.
Remove chicken, dice, and return to pot for 15 more minutes.
Garnish with parsley, if desired, and serve.
