Chicken Divan (Aunt Jane's)

My kids love this creamy chicken dish that I learned to make from my Aunt in Mobile, AL.
Ingredients
- 4 Fresh Split Chicken Breasts (w/ Skin And Bone)
- 1 medium White Onion
- 2 Whole Carrots
- 2/3 cup Miracle Whip Light
- 1/3 cup 1% Lowfat Milk
- 1/2 cup Sargento Reduced Fat Mild Cheddar Shredded Cheese
- 1 tsp Curry Powder
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 lb Broccoli, Raw
- 1/2 cup Healthy Request Cream Of Mushroom Low Fat Low Sodium
- 1/8 cup Bread Crumbs Plain
Directions
Boil the chicken with the carrots and onion until cooked. Drain and cool. Remove meat from bone and set aside the breasts.
While the chicken is cooking, wash and cut the broccoli into stalks. Steam until tender, about 10 minutes.
Mix the soup, miracle wip, cheddar cheese, milk and spices. Combine until smooth. Mix in the lemon juice.
Spray a casserole with Pam or lightly grease. Arrange the broccoli spears on the bottom, layer the boned chicken breasts and top with sauce. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
