Chicken & Dumplings for ME!

Yummy chicken & dumplings. Good for cold nights.
Ingredients
- 314 g Chicken, Whole, Meat Only, Stewed
- 5 oz Pinot Grigio
- 3 medium stalks Celery
- 4 oz baby carrots
- 8 Flaky Layers Buttermilk Biscuits
Directions
Cook whole chicken overnight in crock pot with wine & approx 1 cup of water. Add seasonings to taste, if desired.
Cook chicken & de-bone, setting aside broth in large pot.
Add de-boned chicken to broth, along with carrots & celery. Add additional water to mixture, if needed, for proper consistency. Simmer until veggies are tender.
Tear uncooked biscuits into pieces & drop into simmering broth. Cook until dumplings are done.
