Chicken Parmesan

Lowfat chicken parmesan.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
- 1 tsp Oregano, Dried
- 4 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper, Black
- 1/2 eggs 4 Egg Whites
- 1/2 cup 1% Lowfat Milk
- 1/2 cup Plain Flour
- 24 oz Chicken Breast
- 2 1/2 cups Marinara Sauce
- 3 oz 2% Shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 oz Shredded Parmesan
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cooking Spray, Regular Flavour Non-Stick
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In medium bowl toss the crumbs with oregano, paprika, garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. In another bowl whisk the egg whites and milk together. In a third bowl stir together the flour and the remaining salt and pepper. Pound each piece of chicken to 1/2 inch thickness. Dip each piece in flour, shake off excess, then egg, then breadcrumbs, shaking off excess.
Place breaded breasts in glass baking dish and spray with cooking spray. Bake until they are cooked through and crumbs are browned, about 15 minutes. Top with marinara sace, mozzarella and parmesan and return to oven for another 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbling.
