Poke is usually a light dish, but it only seems fair to satisfy all tastes -- hence this hearty, filling steak poke with macadamia nuts.

Ingredients

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
2. Mix tamari sauce and oil with half of chile, garlic, and shallot and pour over steak
3. Marinate steak for five minutes, then roast in oven on a baking sheet (15 minutes for medium)
4. Stir a dash of orange blossom water into jasmine rice and place in a bowl
5. Once removed from oven, let steak rest then cut into cubes
6. Mix steak and any juices from cutting with macadamias, micro greens and remaining chile, garlic and shallot, and pile atop rice

Notes:
You can use any neutral oil, such as algae, instead of canola.
