Ingredients
- 16 oz Black Beans
- 1/4 cup Wheat Germ
- 1 Banana, large
- 1 cup Oatmeal
- 1 cup Almonds
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup Pecans
- 1 cup Biscuit Baking Mix
- 1/2 cup Fat-free yogurt
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 4 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Flax Seeds
- 1/4 cup Quinoa Cooked
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa
- 1/4 cup Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Ginger, Ground
- 1/4 tsp Cloves, Ground
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cardamom
- 1/4 cup Syrups, Maple
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 cup Unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Put all of the liquid ingredients into a food processor (I use a 14-cup) minus 1/2 of the OJ and .5 cup of the chocolate chips. Process until all ingredients blended.
Add all dry ingredients, one at a time, and process. Allow nuts to be ground fully. Add OJ to adjust consistency and if the food processor requires extra liquid to run.
Once all blended into a smooth batter, use cooking spray to coal a 9x10 tray well. Pour the batter in and smooth evenly.
Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Pour remaining chocolate chips on top evenly and allow to melt a bit. If not melting on their own, place back in the oven as it cools.
Cool well, cut into 45-48 bars. Individually wrap each bar and place in an airtight container. Will not last outside of the freezer for more than a 3 days.
