Coconut Almond Granola
Ingredients
- 2 cups Oats (quaker)
- 2/3 cup Almonds, Sliced
- 2 tbsp Clover Honey
- 2 tbsp Organic Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Ground Flax Seed
- 1 tsp Pure Almond Extract
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 300 F / 150 C.
2. Heat honey, coconut oil and brown sugar together in small sauce pan until melted. Stir in extract.
3. In medium bowl mix oats, almonds and flax seed. Pour melted oil mixture over oat mixture and mix to combine.
4. Spread oat mixture onto baking sheet and bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Bake for 5 more minutes, remove and stir. Bake 3 more minutes, remove and stir. Continue 3 minute intervals until oats are golden brown.
