Created by Joseph Kwiatkowski and Heather Huettl, The Purple Room, Palm Springs, CA. Drink is made best with dry gin and Chandon Rose'.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 1/2 oz Dry Gin
  • 1 oz Pure Virgin Sage Honey
  • 5 red flame grapes
  • 1/4 whole yiel LEMON Juice, Fresh Squeezed
  • 2 oz Rose
  • 1 sprig of lavender

DIRECTIONS

1 TO MAKE SAGE AND HONEY SIMPLE SYRUP:
2 Cup Light Honey
3 sage leaves
4 Bring a pot of water almost to a boil. Add sage and honey and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain the infusion through a coffee filter to limit the green hue from the sage.
5 TO MAKE COCKTAIL: Combine ingredients in chardonnay glass. Add ice to nearly fill and top with Chandon Rosé (about 2-ounces). Garnish with one sprig of desert lavender after using it briefly to stir the cocktail.
6 TIP: This drink is best made with frozen grapes.
