Easy to make and pretty to look at, these jam-swirled cookies are lovely on the holiday table. They bake in 10 minutes, so whip them up whenever you’re craving something sweet. You can use any type of jam that suits your fancy at the time.

Ingredients

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Combine the flour, arrowroot (if using), salt and baking powder in a bowl.
3. Combine the sweetener, oil and vanilla in another bowl.
4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
6. Spread the jam over the rolled out dough.
7. Roll the rectangle into a long log and then slice pieces off to form each cookie.
8. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until just browned.
