1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over low heat. Add in the garlic and ginger and cook while staring continuously for 1 minutes.

2. Turn the heat up to medium and add in the broth, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. If you are adding in vegetables, add them in now and simmer until tender.
