Grilled Oysters

To prepare this recipe, fire up the grill and top shucked oysters with chopped tomatoes, shallots and garlic. The oysters will give you a boost in tissue-repairing protein and disease-fighting zinc. We’re also adding a touch of honey and sriracha to turn up the heat. Grill for a few minutes and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 12 Raw Oyster
  • 6 cherry tomato(s)
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1 Fire grill to medium heat.
2 Shuck oysters, retaining as much of their brine in shells as possible.
3 Top each oyster with the remaining ingredients and gently place on the grill.
4 Wait until oysters start to sizzle. After that, wait until oysters have bubbled for a full minute then remove and serve to your Valentine. Careful not to burn any lips!

6 Use Wellfleet or Bluepoint oysters.
