1. Add the basil, garlic, almonds, tea, and oil to a blender or food processor; puree.

2. Prepare an outdoor grill or grill pan. Cut the bell pepper into 4 large pieces. Grill the mushroom caps and bell pepper over direct medium-high heat until rich grill marks form, about 4 to 5 minutes per side, brushing the mushrooms with the basil pesto sauce during grilling. Add 1/8 teaspoon salt to the mushrooms. Let stand for about 5 minutes to allow mushroom juices to settle.

3. Spread the mashed avocado on the cut side of each bun. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt.

4. Onto the bun bottoms, add the grilled mushroom and bell pepper. Then top with the onion, sprouts (or shredded lettuce), and bun tops.
