Judith's Winter Stew

A healthful twist on your mother's traditional beef stew
Ingredients
- 10 oz Organic Grass Fed Beef
- 1 cup Gourmet Purple Potatoes
- 5 Organic Fingerling Potatoes
- 1 cup Organic Baby Carrots
- 1 cup Butternut Squash
- 1 cup Zucchini
- 1 cup Organic Celery Hearts
- 1 medium Organic Yellow Onions
- 1/4 cup Organic Green Split Peas
- 4 cups Organic Beef Broth
- 2 cups Purified Water
- 1 2/5 g Sea Salt
- 1 tbsp Pepper*
- 1 tbsp Bay Leaf
- 1 tbsp Basil (dried)
Directions
Wash all ingredients (except broth and spices), then chop, dice and slice. beef and veggies and place in slow cooker. Sprinkle split peas and spices on top. Pour broth and water on top. Set cooker to low for 6 - 8 hours. If consistency is not thick enough, add a little corn starch mixed with water and blend into stew.
