Kim's beef chili, from Kathy's recipe. We normally use turkey but this is the beef version.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Onion, Chopped
- 1 Raw Clove
- 2 lb Ground Beef, 90% Lean
- 1 can KIDNEY BEANS
- 2 cups Tomato Sauce Traditional No Salt Added
- 28 oz Tomatoes, fresh, raw, diced
- 2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 4 tsp Spices, Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp Basil, Dried
Directions
saute onion, garlic, and meat. stir in drained beans and remaining ingredients. simmer about 45 minutes or until thick as desired.
serve with a handful of grated cheese. chips and crackers or cornbread also good with it.
