Kj's Turkey "Chili"

This is in the vein of Turkey Chili, but my take on it. I wanted a chili without tomatoes and thus... I got the idea to tweak my butternut squash soup recipe to include some ground turkey and chili like spices.
Ingredients
- 16 oz Ground Turkey
- 4 1/2 cups Cubed Butternut Squash
- 2 1/3 cups Light Coconut Milk
- 4 cups Chicken Broth Low Sodium
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt Grinder
- 1 tsp Spices, Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Fresh Oregano
- 1 tbsp Ginger, Ground
- 2 yields Lime Juice Raw
- 1 tbsp Evoo
- 0 tsp Spices, Onion Powder
- 1/5 tbsp Pepper*
- 3 tbsp Salsa Chipotle
Directions
heat evoo in pan. add spices and simmer for 30-60 seconds. add turkey to spices and brown. Remove turkey from pan and let rest. add a little more evoo to pan. place butternut squash into pan and pour chicken broth over squash. Add coconut milk, lime juice, salsa and bring to boil. lower heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. remove lid, add turkey and stir. heat turkey in broth and serve.
