Lauren's Caramel Sauce

Basic caramel recipe that can be used for multiple things, whether it be on top of ice cream, or around an apple, or with sauteed bananas for bananas fosters.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar, Granulated
- 0 cup Purified Water
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
Directions
put the sugar and the water in a medium sized pot.
stir together until all of the sugar is moistened.
Once that is done, put the flame on medium heat
lightly stir the pot until the sugar water has come together.
Once that happens stop touching it. just let the caramelization happen.
Once it gets to the done ness that you like, add the heavy cream and quickly stir it with a whisk until well incorporated. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Dip apple in it, or put over ice cream
