Lean Beef Chilli

Extra lean ground beef, black beans, lentils make for super lean & protein packed warm goodness.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Extra Lean Ground Beef (wal-mart)
- 1 cup Beans, Black
- 1/2 cup Lentil Beans
- 29 oz Tomatoe Sauce
- 15 oz Tomatoes, Petite Diced
- 3 tbsp Chili Powder Generic
- 1/2 large Green Bell Pepper
- 1/4 cup Red Onion
- 1 tsp Thyme, Dried
- 3 Garlic Clove
Directions
Dice bell pepper & onion. Mince garlic. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, & beef to skillet and cook until the hamburger is no longer pink. Drain and rinse and return to pot. Add all remaining ingredients (do not drain diced tomatoes), plus 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer and cook for about 30 minutes, until heated through and lentils are tender.
