Chocolately, brownie-like cookies. All of the flavor and none of the guilt!
Ingredients
- 2 Egg White, Raw
- 1 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 1/2 serving cup No Sugar Added Natural Apple Sauce
- 3/4 cup Granulated Splenda
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Blend (splenda)
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp All Purpose Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/8 cup Semi-Sweet Mini Chocolate Chip Morsels
- 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
Directions
Combine apple sauce, eggs, and oil. Beat in sugars and vanilla. Separately, combine dry ingredients and slowly add to sugar/sauce mixture. Add chocolate chips. Refrigerate 1 hour, then form dough on a greased cookie sheet. Be sure to press down slightly (but not too flat) as dough will not spread during baking. Bake 8-10 minutes only until set at 325-350 degrees depending on your oven. Caution: over baking will make these dry!
