Low Sugar Granola (unsweetened applesauce)

Made with unsweetened applesauce, add cinnamon and you get a nice flavor without all the added sugar of regular granola!
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Regular Rolled Oats
- 3/4 cup Raw Pumpkin Seeds
- 20 Whole Almond
- 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts
- 2 tbsp Cinnamon Ground
- 1 cup Applesauce (unsweetened)
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
mix all dry ingredients, crush the nuts before mixing in. season with cinnamon and salt.
Mix in applesauce a little at a time to distribute evenly.
spread on a non stick baking sheet w/sides (you may use PAM to grease a non coated pan.
Bake for 20 minutes at a time making sure to stir every 20 minutes. Total baking time is 1 hour 15 minutes.
let cool and store in air tight container.
