Macadamia Crusted Halibut

This is easy and so satisfying!
Ingredients
- 12 oz Halibut, Raw
- 1 large Egg White
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper, Black
- 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 1/2 oz Raw Macadamia Nuts
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Directions
Heat oven to 375
Rinse and dry the filets.
Baste with egg white - both sides.
Sprinkle with Salt, Pepper,Red Pepper Flakes - both sides.
Press 1/2 the macadamia nuts that have been ground on to the top of each filet.
Heat a skillet with the olive oil.
Once hot put in both filets, macadamia side down.
Let brown for 4 min.
Flip the filet for 1.5 - 2.5 min.
Put the skillet in to the oven (oven safe for easier clean up)for 4-6 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish.
Keep an eye on the fish as you want the middle to be a bit opaque - that's when it is done. The fish will continue to cook for a few minutes after you remove it from the oven...so be sure to pay attention during this phase of the cooking.
Once opaque,remove and plate. Serve immediately!
