This vinaigrette is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The sweetness comes from no-sugar-added applesauce and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. The “heat” is mainly from chili paste. The end result? Delicious!

Ingredients

Directions

1. Add the applesauce, sesame oil, brown rice vinegar, pure maple syrup, tamari, ginger and chili paste with garlic to a 10-ounce (or larger) capacity jar. Shake vigorously.
2. Use immediately or store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
