Maple-Spiked Sesame-Ginger Vinaigrette

This vinaigrette is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The sweetness comes from no-sugar-added applesauce and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. The “heat” is mainly from chili paste. The end result? Delicious!

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 8

  • 1/2 cup Applesauce, Natural, No Sugar Added
  • 3 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 3 tbsp Vinegar, Brown Rice
  • 1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Ginger Root
  • 1 tsp Chili Paste With Garlic

DIRECTIONS

1 Add the applesauce, sesame oil, brown rice vinegar, pure maple syrup, tamari, ginger and chili paste with garlic to a 10-ounce (or larger) capacity jar. Shake vigorously.
2 Use immediately or store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
