A fun way to “do lunch” is to create a platter of small bites, such as this collection of Middle Eastern small plates (called mezze). You don’t have to make the dips or grape leaves. Just head over to a natural-foods market!

Ingredients

Directions

1. Arrange grape leaves, grape tomatoes, hummus and tzatziki on a platter.
2. Sprinkle grape leaves with cinnamon. Sprinkle hummus with cayenne pepper. Sprinkle everything with pine nuts (pan-toasted, if desired).
3. Separate endive leaves and serve on the side with lemon wedges. Use leaves to scoop up dips and enjoy.

Note:
If unable to find prepared tzatziki, you can simply top 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt with a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil and pinch of sea salt.
