South American version of chicken fried steak.. It is a thin steak breaded in garlic, salt, and bread crumbs.

Ingredients

Directions

Ingredients
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
16 oz steaks (Thinly cut steak)
1 egg

Directions

Lay your steak out on your preparation surface. If it is not as thin as you would like it you can take to it with a meat tenderizer. It should be about 1/8 of an inch when you begin.

Beat 1 egg in a bowl by itself and place it in dish. Put bread crumbs in a dish. Dip steak in egg both sides in egg, then dip both sided in breadcrumbs. Place into frying pan with heated up oil.

Lay the steaks gently on a greased pan. Cook at 425 for 5 min. The steak should cook quickly. As always make sure the steak has reached an appropriate internal temperature.

Repeat for as many steaks as you have to cook.

  • These steaks look mouthwatering. Can you tell us how much oil you use to cook them this crispy, and how much is left over in the pan, so we know how to achieve your results and get a better idea of the true calorie count?
