Mom's biscuits

Biscuits I grew up on.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Shortning
- 3/4 cup 2% Milk
- 1/4 cup Margarine
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 deg.
mix flour salt & baking powder together. Cut in crisco. Add milk and mix until well blended. Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut out biscuits. Thinly butter the tops and put on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
Extra dough can be cut out and put between plastic wrap and stored in the fridge for up to 2-3 days before cooking (biscuits won't be as fluffy if they are refrigerated).
