A hot Chicken Noodle Soup that is filled with carrots and celery and onion and bunches of Noodles with a small amount of liquid.
Ingredients
- 2 lb Chicken breast (boneless, skinless)
- 1 1/2 serving
- 9 oz Baby Carrots, Raw
- 6 Celery Sticks
- 12 oz Onions, Red
- 96 oz Tap Water
- 2 tbsp Concentrated Chicken Flavor Broth
- 2 tblsp Cracked Black Pepper
- 12 oz Extra Wide Egg Noodles
Directions
Place raw chicken breast in a pot with 12 cups water and boil till done. While chicken is boiling slice vegetables to desired thickness. When chicken is done drain and cool till you can handle it. Pull the chicken into bite size pieces. Put in a second pot the next 6 ingredients and the pulled chicken and bring to a boil. Boil till vegetables are tender. Add noodles and return to a boil. Now if you think it is short on juice or if you like a lot of juice you may add more water...but be careful not to add to much. I myself just add the noodles to the pot and slow boil till al dente. Serve hot.
*I myself have not found a better chicken bullion then Knorr for this soup...my kids always called it Mom's magic chicken noodle soup ingredient lol...but if you can not find it I would use a loose bullion verses a cubed.
