Mom's Stuffed Green Pepper Soup

Stufefd Green pepper Soup that is filling and comforting. I love stuffed green peppers, adn to have the taste of my mom's peppers in soup form only makes cold winters that much more tolerable.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Ground Beef
- 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce (15 ounce can)
- 14 1/2 oz Tomatoes, Petite Diced
- 470 ml Clear Beef Broth
- 2 cups Diced Green Bell Peppers
- 2 cups Onions
- 1 cup Rice, White
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper, Black
Directions
1. Brown beef and diced onion. Drain off grease.
2. Combine beef and onion with remaining ingredients in a stock pot. Bring to a boil.**
3. once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for an hour.
Top with sour cream if desired.
** May use 1/2 cup of minute rice instead of white rice.
