mtgw's cornbread

just plain old cornbread made with soy milk instead of dairy.
Ingredients
- 1 cup White Flour Bleached
- 1 cup Corn Meal, Yellow
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Baking Powder Aluminum Free
- 2 tbsp Sugar*
- 1 tsp Salt*
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup 100% Canola Oil
- 1 cup Soy Milk
Directions
Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix all of the wet ingredients in another bowl or two-cup measure. Pour the wet into the dry. Mix only until all is wet. Pour batter into a greased baking tin. I used a round one. Cook at 425 degrees for 24 min. It will be savory and not sweet. You can eat with greens or if you like it sweet, eat with jam, honey or syrup.
