3. Add carrots, stir, and place a lid on pan for them to cook for several minutes
4. Stir again, and add 1-2 tablespoons of water if they are sticking
5. Cook until tender-crisp, up to five more minutes
6. Add remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly to combine
